University of Minnesota gymnasts Lexy Ramler, Ivy Lu and Hannah Hitchcock have been named to the 2018 All-Big Ten teams, announced today by the conference.

Ramler and Lu were each named First Team All-B1G and Hitchcock earned Second Team All-B1G honors. This is the first time that all three have earned All-B1G honors in their career.

Ramler has been named the B1G Gymnast of the Week four times and the Freshman of the Week five times this season. She is the top all-around gymnast in the conference with an RQS of 39.485 and has won eight all-around titles this year. Her top all-around score this season was a 39.600 which is the highest mark in the conference.

With an RQS of 9.925 on beam, Ramler is ranked No. 5 in the NCAA and is at the top of the B1G. She is also ranked No. 4 on bars in the B1G and No. 13 in the NCAA with a 9.910 RQS.

Lu has been one of the most dominant gymnasts on bars in the entire country in her sophomore season. She is ranked No. 2 in the NCAA and first in the conference with a 9.955 RQS.

She has gone over 9.900 on bars in nine meets this season and has hit 9.950 or higher five times. Only one time has she gone less than 9.900 this season and she still managed a 9.850. Lu tied the school bars record twice this season scoring 9.975's in back-to-back meets.

While Lu has shined the brightest on bars, she did make history on beam becoming just the second Gopher to ever score a perfect 10.000 on the event.

It has been a strong senior season for Hitchcock. She has set career high marks on both vault and bars and even performed a floor routine for the first time in her career. She is ranked No. 12 in the B1G on bars with a 9.870 RQS.

She scored a career high 9.925 this season and has hit 9.850 or higher in seven meets. She has also been one of the Gophers most consistent gymnasts on vault and is third on the team with a 9.820 RQS. She has hit a career high 9.850 three times this season.

The Gophers are now off to the B1G Championships in Champaign, Ill. They will start on vault in the evening session at 7 p.m.
