Ten 'U' Alums Set for Stanley Cup Playoffs

MINNEAPOLIS -- Ten Gopher Hockey alums are set to compete in the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs as the action gets underway on Wednesday.
Representing the Maroon & Gold are Mark Alt (Colorado), Travis Boyd (Washington), Erik Haula (Vegas), Erik Johnson (Colorado), Phil Kessel (Pittsburgh), Paul Martin (San Jose), Nick Seeler (Minnesota), Nate Schmidt (Vegas), Thomas Vanek (Columbus) and Blake Wheeler (Winnipeg).*
Additionally, Gopher Hockey will be represented in the Stanley Cup playoffs by a number of alums in team personnel roles -- Minnesota assistant coach Darby Hendrickson, Tampa Bay assistant coach Todd Richards and Philadelphia president Paul Holmgren, Minnesota limited partner Michael Reilly and Columbus amateur scout Mike Antonovich.
