COLUMBUS, Ohio - The final round of the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational was cancelled Sunday due to heavy overnight rains in the area.
The 36-hole results were made final, with the Gophers placing 10th (304-306-610).
Junior Muyu Wu and freshman Joanne Free each carded rounds of 75 and 76 to end the tournament tied for 27th at 7-over-par 151. Two shots behind that duo was senior Sabrine Garrison, who tied for 40th place at 9-over-par (74-79-153). Freshman Grace Kellar tied for 54th place at 12-over-par (80-76-156), while junior Maggie Heggerston (80-78-158) and freshman Kate Lillie (82-78-160) tied for 61st and 70th, respectively.
Competing individually, redshirt freshman Christine Portillo (77-83-160) is tied for 61st as well.
Illinois won the team title with a score of 579, with the Illini's Grace Park and Kent State's Pimnipa Panthong atop the individual leaderboard at 3-under-par 141.
Minnesota will be back in action next week, returning to Ohio for the Big Ten Championships at TPC River's Bend in Maineville.
