Gophers Announce Fall Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota softball Head Coach Jamie Trachsel announced Thursday afternoon the Gophers 2018 fall schedule.  Fans will have three different chances to see the Gophers in action this fall at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Admission is free to all fall games.
The Maroon and Gold hit the dirt for a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 28 against St. Cloud State University. Game time is set for 5 p.m. with game two taking place 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The following day on Saturday, Sept. 29 the Gophers welcome Minnesota Duluth to Dinkytown for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Â Minnesota wraps up the fall season on Friday, October 5 against Concordia St. Paul in doubleheader action beginning at 5 p.m.
The Gophers are coming off back-to-back-to-back Big Ten Tournament titles while making their sixth straight NCAA tournament appearance. Minnesota posted a 41-17 record during Trachsel's first year at the helm of the program.
