Gophers to Wrap Up Fall Season at Cardinal Cup

The Minnesota women's golf team travels to the Bluegrass State this weekend for the final fall tournament of 2019, taking part in the Cardinal Cup hosted by the University of Louisville.
The three-day tournament at par-72, 6,261-yard University of Louisville Golf Club will begin Friday morning with 10 a.m. ET tee times. Live scoring is available throughout the tournament at Golfstat.
Minnesota joins a 17-team field that also features Big Ten rival Wisconsin, along with schools from the ACC, SEC, Big XII and Pac-12 among the participants. Joining the Gophers and Badgers are the host Cardinals along with Ball State, Campbell, Chattanooga, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Kansas, Kentucky, Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, Murray State, Richmond, South Dakota, Washington, and Western Kentucky.
Taking part in the action for the Gophers are juniors Joanne Free, Kate Lillie and Grace Kellar, sophomore Karen Zhang and freshman Grace Curran. Fellow freshman Annabelle Ackroyd will compete as an individual.
