Gophers Earn Highest GPA in Big Ten

Eleven Gophers earned a 3.5 GPA or higher
Eleven Gophers were recognized as Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Wednesday afternoon.
Minnesota finished at the top of the Big Ten with a 3.580 GPA for the 2018-19 academic year. That mark ranked No. 14 in the entire NCAA, up 41 spots from a year ago. The Gophers had a spring term GPA of 3.63 which set a new program record.
Hannah Bailey, Carlie Brandt, Taylor Chell, Natalie DenHartog, Amber Fiser, Maddie Houlihan, Ellee Jensen, Rachel Lowary, MaKenna Partain, Sydney Smith and Josey White all finished the year with over a 3.5 GPA.
The Gophers are back at home this Friday night for a FREE fall ball doubleheader at 5 p.m. against Concordia University, St. Paul.
