Erin Hedman Signs NLI with Gophers

MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota head coach Lindsay Whalen has announced that Erin Hedman has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Minnesota women's basketball program for the 2020-21 season.
"We are thrilled to welcome Erin to our Gopher family," Whalen said. "She brings great size and skill at position that adds great depth to our post group."
A native of New Berlin, Wis., Hedman currently attends Eisenhower High School. A four-star recruit according to ESPN, she is the 75th-ranked player overall in the class and the No. 8 post player. The 6'2 Hedman was named second-team all-conference a year ago after averaging 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 blocks per game. As a sophomore, Hedman posted 7.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest.
The early signing period for Division-I basketball runs from Nov. 13-20, 2019.
