Nine Alums Set for HDM All-Star Game

The Minnesota Wild and FOX Sports North announced the athletes set to participate in Hockey Day Minnesota's State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game on Friday, Jan. 17.
MINNEAPOLIS -- Nine Golden Gopher women's hockey alumnae are among the athletes set to participate in Hockey Day Minnesota's State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game on Friday, Jan. 17 at Parade Stadium, the Minnesota Wild, in conjunction with FOX Sports North, jointly announced this week. The State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game will start at 6 p.m. CT followed by the NHL Alumni Game, featuring Minnesota Wild and Minnesota North Stars alumni, at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Hockey Day Minnesota 2020 will take place Thursday, Jan. 16 through Saturday, Jan. 18 on an outdoor rink constructed at Parade Stadium in Minneapolis. The State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game precedes Saturday's full day of hockey at Parade Stadium, which includes a 4:30 p.m. CT match-up between the Golden Gopher women's hockey team and Ohio State on the outdoor rink at Parade Stadium.
Tickets for single-day and three-day packages for the 14th Annual Wells Fargo Hockey Day Minnesota are on-sale now. FOX Sports North's coverage of Wells Fargo Hockey Day Minnesota 2020 begins at 9 a.m. on Jan. 18 and includes a full day of original hockey programming designed as a celebration of the game from peewees to pros.
Rosters for the State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game are subject to change. FOX Sports North will host a special Wild Live pre-game show on Jan. 5 at 5:30 p.m., prior to the Wild hosting the Calgary Flames, to announce teams and coaches for each game.
Along with the State of Hockey Women's All-Star Game and the match-up between Minnesota and Ohio State, the Gopher men's program will host a free open skate at Parade Stadium starting at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Jan. 19 as part of the team's Skate the Cities initiative. This event is open to the public and free for all fans although complimentary tickets are required.
