Gophers Return to Tournament Play in Melbourne

The 2019 spring season of competition for the Minnesota women's golf tournament continues as the Gophers head back to Florida to start the week. Minnesota will be among a 16-team field competing at the Moon Golf Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the 6,309-yard, par-72 Duran Golf Club in Melbourne.
Tournament play commences Monday with an 8:00 a.m. ET shotgun start and 36 holes to follow, while the final round will be played Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Joining the Gophers in the field are two other Big Ten teams in Maryland and Michigan. Along with host Louisville, the field is rounded out by Augusta, Campbell, FIU, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Old Dominion, Seminole State, South Florida, Texas A&M and UCF.
Minnesota will send six golfers to the tournament in senior Muyu Wu, sophomores Grace Kellar, Kate Lillie and Joanne Free, and freshmen Alayna Eldred and Karen Zhang.
