Lu Pulls in Fourth B1G Award of the Season

For the second week in a row and the fourth time so far this season, Ivy Lu has been selected as the Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week. The Montreal, Quebec native is the only gymnast to earn the Event Specialist nod multiple times this season.
At this past weekend's Big Five meet against Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois and Rutgers, Lu claimed third place on both the uneven bars and the balance beam. She earned a 9.925 and 9.900 on her respective events and improves to the rank of No. 7 in the nation on the uneven bars with an RQS of 9.915.
Lu and the No. 11 Golden Gophers return to Maturi Pavilion this Saturday as they take on Pittsburgh at 4:00 p.m. CT. at their final home meet of the 2019 season where we will honor our two seniors for their contributions to our program.
