Minnesota inks 11 on National Signing Day
The University of Minnesota football team added 11 students to its roster today. These 11 young men join the 23 student-athletes who signed a National Letter of Intent in December.
Today, Gervarrius Owens inked a National Letter of Intent, while 10 others signed an Acceptance of Admission.
Owens is a defensive back and comes to Minnesota after one season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College where he was a First Team All-American.
Minnesota added 10 more students in Jimmy Buck, Caden Fey, Tom Foley, Matt Guggemos, Nick Kallerup, Nick McCabe, Ben McNaboe, Cody Smith, Austin Winfield and Larry Wright. Foley is from Illinois, while Winfield is from Texas. The other eight individuals are from Minnesota.
The Gophers added four defensive backs, two wide receivers and one linebacker, offensive lineman, tight end, punter and athlete today.
