Sadek Signs ATO with Iowa Wild

MINNEAPOLIS – Gopher Hockey senior defenseman Jack Sadek has signed an amateur tryout contract with the Iowa Wild, the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild.
A native of Lakeville, Minn., Sadek was drafted by the Wild in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
The defenseman recorded 43 points (10 goals, 33 assists) in 125 career games for the Maroon & Gold while playing 94-straight games to end his career including every contest of his junior and senior season. His final campaign with Minnesota was his best statistically as the senior recorded career highs for points (18), assists (14) and blocks (57). He led the Gophers defensive corps in scoring as a senior and finished second on the team in blocks.
A four-year letter winner for the Maroon & Gold, Sadek helped the Gophers capture two-straight Big Ten regular-season championships in 2016 and 2017.
