Minnesota Moments: Under Pressure

Gophers rallied to beat Fresno State with a fourth quarter comeback

Minnesota trailed Fresno State 14-13 in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter last fall.

It was third and nine and the Gophers had the ball at their own 44-yard line. Quarterback Zack Annexstad avoided Bulldog pressure, reversed field and then found star receiver Tyler Johnson for a 13-yard gain to keep the drive alive.

Minnesota would score with less than four minutes remaining and would win the game 21-14. The loss was one of only two that Fresno State suffered all year, as they ended the season ranked No. 18 with a 12-2 record.

We sat down with Annexstad and Johnson to recount this Minnesota Moment.
