Kellar in Contention After Two Rounds at Lady Buckeye

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Grace Kellar is among the top-10 after 36 holes at the Lady Buckeye Invitational, hosted Saturday by Ohio State at the OSU Golf Club's Scarlet Course.
Kellar (71-76—147) is in 10th place at 3-over par, one stroke away from a four-way deadlock for sixth place. Joining her in the top-25 four strokes behind is classmate Kate Lillie (76-75—151), who is among a tie for 23rd place at 7-over par. Three shots behind her is senior Muyu Wu, as she is tied for 47th place (78-76—154).
Freshman Karen Zhang (81-81—162) is tied for 70th place at 18-over par, with sophomore Jessica Lee one stroke behind in 72nd place (83-80—163). Sophomore Joanne Free rounded out the Gopher lineup in 74th place (88-80—168).
In the play six, count four format used by the tournament, the Gophers are in 11th place in the team standings (306-307—613). Michigan State leads the way with a team score of 582, with Indianapolis's Pilar Echeverria (69-72—141) atop the leaderboard.
The Lady Buckeye Invitational will conclude Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start for the third and final round.
