Murphy Selected to Reese’s College All-Star Game

Minnesota senior forward Jordan Murphy will be back on the court on a national stage this Friday, as he was selected to the 2019 Reese's® College All-Star game. The San Antonio, Texas native will play on the REESE'S® Division I West All-Stars squad.

The contest, featuring 20 of the most outstanding senior players in NCAA Division I, will be played on Reese's Final Four Friday®, April 5, at the US Bank Stadium at 3:30 p.m. CT as part of the 2019 NCAA® Men's Final Four® in Minneapolis. Admission to the game, along with all of Reese's Final Four Friday®, is free.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast the game live, while live stats will be available at http://nabc.statbroadcast.com.

Murphy, who was an All-Big Ten first team selection by the media and second team by the coaches, also earned All-District honors from the NABC and USBWA and was an All-Big Ten second team selection by the Associated Press.

One of the most accomplished players in school history, Murphy led the Big Ten in rebounding with 11.0 boards per game, ranking seventh nationally, and was second in the country and conference leader with 21 double-doubles. Murphy was second on the Gophers scoring 14.4 points per game including 24 games with 10 or more points this season and five 20-plus scoring efforts. He started every game this season and is second on the team in field goal shooting (48.7 percent) and blocks (29) while ranking third in assists (93).

Murphy is the Gophers' second all-time leading scorer with 1,802 career points, and is the school's leading rebounder with 1,307 boards, second all-time in Big Ten history. His 67 career double-doubles is also a school record and second in Big Ten history.
