STARTING FIVE
• The Golden Gopher men's basketball team returns to Williams Arena after a two-game Pacific Northwest road swing when it hosts Rutgers Saturday at 11 a.m. It marks Minnesota's fourth and final 11 a.m. game of the regular season and 15th home game of the year.
• Minnesota is coming off a 61-44 win over Oregon Tuesday night to give the Gophers their fifth conference win of the year and second in four games. Minnesota played six players throughout the game. Isaac Asuma had 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists and Grayson Grove had career-highs of 13 points and eight rebounds. Cade Tyson finished with 12 points and tied Grove with eight rebounds, Bobby Durkin had 11 points and five rebounds, Langston Reynolds had eight points and four boards, and Kai Shinholster added a dunk, three rebounds and two steals.
• The Gophers allowed just 44 points in the win over Oregon, the second-lowest point total of the year. Minnesota allowed just 43 against FDU on Dec. 29. The 44 points allowed were the Gophers' least amount of points allowed against a Big Ten team since the 2014-15 season. Minnesota allowed 46 points against Northwestern at the Big Ten Tournament in 2021 (W, 51-46), and allowed 42 points in a home game against Nebraska on Jan. 31, 2015, in a 60-42 win.
• The Gopher defense allowed the Ducks to shoot just 2-of-20 from the field and outrebounded them, 38-28, the third-highest rebound mark for the Gophers in Big Ten play. Minnesota also committed just nine fouls in the game, the lowest in Big Ten play this season, and scored 15 points off Oregon turnovers.
Grayson Grove made his fifth start of the season to replace the injured Jaylen Crocker-Johnson and established career-highs in points (13), rebounds (8), minutes (38) and three-pointers made (2) and attempted (4). The red-shirt freshman also tied a career-high four assists and had three steals.

ABOUT THE SCARLET KNIGHTS
• The Scarlet Knights are coming off an 85-72 win over Penn State on Wednesday. Rutgers is 11-15 overall and 4-11 in Big Ten play and looking to make it three-straight after a win over Maryland on Feb. 15.
• Leading scorer and NJIT transfer Tariq Francis leads the team in points per game (16.8), field goals (141), free throws made (120), attempted (134), free throw percentage (89.6), assists (69), and is tied with Jamichael Davis in steals (24). Dylan Grant averages 10.7 points, while Harun Zrno has a team-best 46 three-pointers in 132 attempts. Emmanuel Ogbole leads the team in rebounds per game (6.6) and blocks (31).
• As a team, the Ducks are scoring 72.2 points, while allowing 74.9. They are shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 32.9 percent past the arc. They also average 35 rebounds a game.
