Touchdown Tuesday: Faalele Lowers Shoulder in Spring Game
5/21/2019 9:18:00 AM | Football
Daniel Faalele scored from six yards out in last month's spring game
You read about Minnesota's 6-9, 400-pound offensive lineman Daniel Faalele yesterday in Bleacher Report, so we thought today would be a good time to remind you that he scored a touchdown in Minnesota's spring game last month.
Faalele, playing for the Maroon team, took a handoff from quarterback Zack Annexstad and then surged into the end zone - shunning would-be tacklers - for a six-yard touchdown. His score helped lift the Maroon team to a 38-20 in the annual scrimmage.
There has not been an official word yet if Minnesota plans to utlize Faalele in the backfield during the upcoming season.
