The home and away opponents for Gopher wrestling throughout the 2019-20 Big Ten schedule have been announced and next year's schedule features the top-five teams from the 2019 NCAA Championship including two duals at home in Maturi Pavilion.
All wrestling schedules will be finalized in September when conference basketball schedules are solidified and any facility conflicts can be resolved.
The Maroon and Gold welcome Ohio State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Penn State to the Twin Cities. The Gophers will hit the road to take on Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, and Michigan.
The Gophers will take on their designated rival, Iowa, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in the 105th installment of the legendary rivalry.
All opponents on the 2019-20 slate were represented at the 2019 NCAA Championships and feature returning wrestlers that won at least one match.
The Gophers did not face the Buckeyes, Nittany Lions, Spartans, or Wolverines last season.
The University of Minnesota will host the 2020 NCAA Championships at the home of the Minnesota Vikings, US Bank Stadium. It will mark the first time the greatest tournament in college wrestling will be hosted at a football stadium.
