Gophers in the NBA Summer League

Three former members of the Minnesota men's basketball team have been competing among the best in the world this week in Las Vegas at the NBA Summer League. Amir Coffey (Los Angeles Clippers), Austin Hollins (Utah Jazz) and Jordan Murphy (Minnesota Timberwolves) have each seen significant minutes through the opening games of the 10-day long event.
Below is a recap of each player's performances to date:

Amir Coffey
Coffey, who inked a two-way contract with the Clippers on Tuesday, has played in three games and is averaging 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and two assists in 27.3 minutes per game. A starter in all three games thus far, Coffey scored 15 points and six rebounds in the 90-72 win over Washington on Tuesday, after posting 10 points and three rebounds in a loss to Memphis on Sunday. His debut performance on Saturday against the Lakers saw 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal in a team-high 28 minutes of play.

Austin Hollins

Hollins has appeared in one game in Las Vegas with the Jazz, recording one rebound, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes of action. In the Salt Lake City Summer League one week prior, Hollins averaged 7.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 18.5 minutes per contest in the two games there.

Jordan Murphy

Murphy has appeared in all four of the Wolves' games in Las Vegas, averaging 6.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 12.0 minutes of action on average. His best game to date came on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks, Murphy scored 10 points in ten minutes, adding four rebounds in a 100-91 Minnesota win.
