ROSEMONT, Ill. - A trio of women's golfers from Minnesota were selected among the Big Ten's Golfers to Watch List, announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Juniors Grace Kellar and Kate Lillie, along with freshman Annabelle Ackroyd were among the group chosen as the season begins next month.

Kellar, a native of Edina, Minn., finished the 2018-19 season with the team's best scoring average of 74.31, a figure which ranks fourth in Gopher program history. She posted three top-20 finishes after playing in the lineup for each of the Gophers' nine tournaments. Kellar's best finish came in the first tournament of the year, placing in a tie for third at the Minnesota Invitational with a score of 2-under par.

Lillie was third in overall stroke average at 75.62, ranking 16th in program single-season history. The St. Charles, Ill., native also started all nine of the Gophers' tourneys, posting her best finish of the year at the Juli Inkster Invitational at Meadow Club with a tie for 16th at 5-over par.

Ackroyd arrives in the Twin Cities following a decorated prep career in Canada. The Calgary native was named one of four Alberta Golf Players of the Year in the Junior Girls class for 2018, and finished seventh in the National Order of Merit. She competed in both the USGA U.S. Junior Girls Qualifier, where she was a medalist, and the U.S. Women's Amateur Championships as well as twice winning the Alberta Junior Championship in 2018 and 2019.

The Gophers' 2019-20 season again begins at home in September, as the Maroon and Gold host the Minnesota Invitational at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury from Sep. 9-10.
