The University of Minnesota wrestling program is happy to announce the addition of Boo Dryden, a 2019 NJCAA National Champion at 133-pounds.

Dryden, a Haysville, Kansas, native, spent his last three seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where was a two-time All-American. Back in Kansas he was a two-time state champion in high school.

Even while competing at a lower level, Dryden showed his skills against top-tier competition. At various open tournaments last season Dryden notched numerous Division 1 victories including a pair over the Nebraska Cornhuskers' options at 133-pounds.

Dryden is eligible to wrestle in the Maroon and Gold immediately.
