USCHO Ranks Gophers Fourth in Preseason Poll

Minnesota comes in at No. 4 in the USCHO preseason poll.
MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota comes in at No. 4 in the USCHO.com Preseason Division I Women's Poll, U.S. College Hockey Online announced on Monday.
The USCHO.com Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including coaches and women's hockey writers from across the country. USCHO.com provides in-depth coverage of college hockey.
The WCHA leads the way with four teams in the preseason rankings as No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 5 Ohio State, and No. 8 Minnesota Duluth join the Gophers among the nation's preseason top 10.
The Gophers also received the No. 4 preseason ranking in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine national poll, which was released last week. Minnesota opens the 2020-21 season with a top-five match-up, welcoming the No. 5 Buckeyes to Ridder Arena on Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22.
