The WCHA series between Minnesota and Minnesota Duluth scheduled for Jan. 4-5 has been postponed.

MINNEAPOLIS – The Golden Gopher women's hockey team's upcoming series with No. 6 Minnesota Duluth originally scheduled for Jan. 4-5 at Ridder Arena has been postponed.

Minnesota Duluth (4-2-0, 4-2-0 WCHA) will be unable to meet the minimum number of players required to compete outlined in the WCHA's Return to Competition protocols. As a result, the series will be postponed to later in the season.

The Gophers (5-1-0, 5-1-0 WCHA) are scheduled to face St. Cloud State (2-4-0, 2-4-0 WCHA) in a home-and-home series next weekend with game one on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Ridder Arena and game two on Sunday, Jan. 10 in St. Cloud, Minn.
