The Minnesota women's golf team continues February tournament play Monday, taking part in The Gold Rush hosted by Long Beach State. Over two days and 54 holes, the Gophers will battle 11 other teams at the 6,169-yard, par-72 Old Ranch Country Club.
Traveling to the Golden State for the Maroon and Gold are juniors Grace Kellar and Kate Lillie, sophomore Karen Zhang and freshmen Grace Curran and Annabelle Ackroyd. Additionally, sophomore Jessica Lee will compete individually at The Prospector Invite at nearby El Dorado Golf Course, featuring individual competitors from the participating teams.
Joining the Gophers and host Long Beach State in the field are Boston College, BYU, UC Irvine, Charlotte, Fresno State, Georgia, Idaho, New Mexico State, Sacramento State and Santa Clara.
Play begins with an 8:00 a.m. PT shotgun start on Monday morning, with live scoring available throughout the tournament via Golfstat.
