Katie Duong, Team USA Win 2020 U-20 CONCACAF Championship

Gophers midfielder Katie Duong and the Red, White and Blue took home the 2020 U-20 CONCACAF Championship this week with a 4-1 victory over Mexico in the final round.
Duong contributed a goal and three assists throughout the tournament. Less than ten players on the roster both scored and assist in the competition, and Duong was one of them.
The Oregon native started five games out of the team's seven total and appeared in all but one match. As a team the Americans outscored their opposition 44-1 in the seven games in South America.
A participant in several national team camps and now a key member of the U-20 squad, Duong's international prospects remain bright when she's not wearing the Maroon and Gold.
