Minnesota Wraps Up Juli Inkster Invitational in 10th Place

FAIRFAX, Calif. - Freshman Annabelle Ackroyd posted the third even-par round of the week for the Minnesota women's golf team on Tuesday, as the Gophers finished 10th at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational.
Ackroyd (77-75-72—224) ended the tournament tied for 23rd at 8-over par, the top finisher in Maroon and Gold. Three strokes back was classmate Emma Carpenter (79-72-76—227), who ended the event tied for 35th place.
Among a tie for 43rd place were a pair of Gophers in freshman Grace Curran (81-73-75—229) and sophomore Karen Zhang (72-77-80—229), with junior Grace Kellar rounding out the lineup in a tie for 54th place (76-77-81—234).
Individual competitor Jessica Lee (84-78-83—245) ended the tournament in 69th place.
The Gophers (304-297-303—904) finished in 10th place, with Oregon State earning the team title (291-296-284—871). Washington State's Marie Lund-Hansen and Amy Chu shared medalist honors at 2-under par 214.
