All-Big Ten Second Team performer spent time with media on a video conference
University of Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan spent 20 minutes with about 25 media members on a video conference yesterday.
Morgan, who is 15-4 as a starter at Minnesota, set school single-season records for passing yards (3,253) and passing touchdowns (30) in 2019, as he helped lead Minnesota to 11 wins and an end-of-season of No. 10. The Ryle, Ken., native also set school single-season records in completion percentage (66.0%), passing yards per game (250.2), pass efficiency rating (178.7) and touchdown-interception ratio (4.28).
Morgan, who will be a junior in the fall, was named All-Big Ten Second Team in 2019 and was also a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien Award and The Manning Award. Morgan is also an Academic All-Big Ten performer.
