Looking Back: Foggie to Hunter, Gophers Beat Indiana in '84

Tony Hunter took a shovel pass 67 yards for a touchdown and Minnesota topped Indiana 33-24
Minnesota earned it's first Big Ten win of the 1984 season with a 33-24 home win against Indiana in front of 44,786 fans at the Metrodome.
The Gophers final score of the game was a 67-yard touchdown pass - a shovel pass to be exact - from Rickey Foggie to Tony Hunter.
Foggie completed four passes in the game, but thew for 165 yards and two scores. In addition to the 67-yard touchdown to Hunter, Foggie also tossed a 79-yard score to flanker Dwayne McMullen.
Hunter carried the load for the Gophers in the victory, rushing 18 times for 116 yards and two scores.
