An All-American in 1967 and 1968, he finished second in Big Ten individual competition the first year and won the crown the second. He finished third at the 1968 NCAA Championships before turning pro and earning his PGA Tour card in the early 1970s.
Brask made 28 starts on the regular PGA Tour during the 1970s and then joined the Asian Tour, where he won five times. He then spent 19 years as head pro at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie before successfully joining the Senior PGA and Senior European Tours in the late 1990s.
