Minnesota Set to Play in Harvard Invitational

Gophers to compete in Cambridge tournament; wrap up their fall season
Minnesota will play in their final tournament of the fall season this weekend, competing in the Harvard Invitational. The tournament will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts and feature Harvard, Boston University, and Boston College in addition to the Gophers. Matches will be played out over the course of 3 days, from November 5th to November 7th. Weather permitting, gameplay will take place at Beren Tennis Center, with indoor play being available at Murr Center Tennis Courts. Minnesota will send all 9 players, resuming competition after their last tournament in Iowa City.
Tournament Format
The tournament will be a hidden dual format, with teams competing head to head. The Gophers will play against one of the Massachusetts teams each day, with the number of competitors ranging based on player availability. Minnesota will take on Harvard at 3:30 on Friday, Boston College at 2:00 on Saturday, and Boston University at 9:00 on Sunday.
Participants
The Gophers will send 9 players to compete in Massachusetts. After last competing in Iowa, Minnesota will look to end their fall season on a high note. Rachel Hanford led the way at the ITA Central Regional, reaching the quarterfinals of singles play.
