Minnesota offensive linemen named to Second Team
The Associated Press announced its All-Big Ten teams today and Minnesota had two individuals recognized. Offensive lineman Daniel Faalele and Blaise Andries were both placed on the Second Team.
This honors comes after Faalele (coaches) and Andries (media) were both recently named All-Big Ten First Team.
Faalele and Andries provided protection this year for a Minnesota offense that rushed for 2,575 yards and 25 touchdowns and one that passed for 1,997 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The duo also helped lead Minnesota to an 8-4 overall record and a 6-3 mark in Big Ten play. The Gophers recently accepted an invitation to play West Virginia in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Dec. 28 in Phoenix.
