Ramler Earns Big Ten Gymnast of the Week Honors

Lexy Ramler was named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for the first time this season and 13th time in her career. This honor comes after Minnesota recorded a 196.675 to 194.750 victory over Penn State on Saturday night.
The senior set a season-high all-around score with a 39.675 and won her first all-around title of the year. Ramler earned first place finishes on bars (9.925) and beam (9.950). She took a share of the crown on floor with a 9.925 and tied for second on vault after scoring 9.875.

Minnesota heads on the road to compete at Iowa on Saturday, February 6th. The meet will begin at 3:00pm and be broadcast live on ESPNU. This will be the second match-up between the two teams this season. The Gophers defeated the Hawkeyes by a score of 197.025-196.450 in the season-opening meet on January 15, 2021.
