Prior to Minnesota, Wong played three seasons at Texas State and one at Central Arkansas

The University of Minnesota women's golf team added graduate transfer Geraldine Wong to its roster. Wong heads to Minnesota from Texas State where she spent three seasons after competing at Central Arkansas for one year.

As a senior, Wong led Texas State in stroke average at 73.5. She had one top-five tournament finish with the Bobcats and her season low was a 68.

During her junior year, Wong averaged 75.15 and carded a season-low 67. The year prior, her average was 75.26. Wong was named the Southland Conference Freshman of the Year following her 2017-18 season with Central Arkansas, and she was also named 2019 All Sun Belt Conference Second Team while with Texas State.

Wong has one season of eligibility remaining due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is using that year at Minnesota.
