Gophers Finish the Second Round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational

Windermere, Fl. – The University of Minnesota men's golf team has finished the second round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational. The Gophers' team score of 294-298—592 places them in twelfth as they approach the third round of the tournament tomorrow. Junior Ben Warian, who opened the second round in a tie for tenth, moved up to a tie for ninth heading into the final round.
With two rounds down, Auburn remains in first with a team score of 273-283—556 with one final round remaining.
Notable:
Warian led the team in birdies once again, this time notching four in the second round. His two-round score of 70-71—141 places him into a tie for ninth place.
Senior Antoine Sale gathered two birdies in round two. He will begin the final round in a tie for forty-fifth place with a two-round score of 78-72—150.
Also tied for forty-fifth is graduate Jacob Pedersen with a two-round score of 72-78—150. He earned two birdies in the second round of the tournament.
Freshman Mason Roloff collected three birdies in the second round of his first collegiate tournament. He is tied for fifty-fourth with a two-round score of 74-78—152.
Graduate Lincoln Johnson tallied three birdies in the front-9. With a two-round score of 78-77—155, he will start the final round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in a tie for sixty-second.
