Minnesota's second largest signing class since 2018 is made up of five Minnesotans and the first Hungarian in program history.
"We are so excited to announce our 2023 recruiting class," said head coach Brad Frost. "Each player brings a unique skillset to the table, but most importantly, will represent our program and University well with their academics, athletic ability and types of people each of them are."
Isa Goettl, Forward, Andover High School (Andover, Minn.)
A left-handed forward, Isa Goettl joins the Gophers from Andover High School. With the Huskies, she was a two-time MSHSL AA state champion ('20, '22) and was named to the 2022 All-Conference, All-State and All-Tournament Teams. The Minnesota Ms. Hockey nominee tallied 56 points in 29 games last season. As a freshman, Goettl won team Rookie of the Year while sharing a lineup with current Gophers Peyton Hemp and Madison Kaiser.
Frost on Goettl: "Isa is a crafty forward who plays hard every shift. She makes others around her better by her play with and without the puck. She competes in all three zones and brings a positive attitude to the rink every day."
