Sweeny led Minnesota with nine home runs and 30 RBI last year
MINNEAPOLIS - Gopher Baseball first baseman Ronnie Sweeny has been named to the 2022 Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award Watch List, as announced by the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation.
Introduced in 2017, the BBCSA is awarded annually to the top college hitter in the nation and is based on performance at the plate, academics and personal integrity.

This year's watch list consists of 44 players representing 18 conferences around the country, including all five power conferences. The list includes 13 seniors, 17 juniors and 14 sophomores.
Sweeny played in all 37 games last year, including 32 starts. He led the Gophers in home runs (9) and RBI (30) while ranking second in runs (16) and total bases (57).Highlights: Gophers 9, Iowa 4
