Mafe is coming off a fabulous performance at the Senior Bowl where he was named the National Team Player of the Game after recording two sacks and one forced fumble. Mafe, who was named All-Big Ten Second Team in 2021, played in 42 career games for the Gophers and made 87 tackles (59 solo), 19.5 tackles for loss and 15 sacks (ranks ninth all-time in school history). He also forced three fumbles and broke up three passes during this collegiate career.
Andries and Faalele, who were both named All-Big Ten First Team, blocked for some of the most dynamic Minnesota offenses in recent history.
Andries, who participated in Hula Bowl activities, started all 46 career games he competed in and helped lead Minnesota to a 30-16 record in those games. He started at every position on the offensive line in his career except center, including five starts at left tackle, 11 at left guard, 21 at right guard and nine at right tackle.
Faalele, who was a teammate of Mafe at the Senior Bowl, started 31 of the 34 career games he competed in for the Gophers and helped lead Minnesota to a 23-11 record in those games.
Otomewo was invited to the Senior Bowl, but was not able to participate. He was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2021. Otomewo started 20 of 46 career games and made 81 tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks.
