CAREER: Announced on Jan. 2, 2022, that he was forgoing his final season of eligibility and entering the 2022 NFL Draft • started 20 of 46 games • made 81 tackles, including 7.5 sacks. 

2021 SENIOR SEASON: Started all 13 games • made 30 tackles • recorded 4.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and one safety. Game-by-Game: Saw action against Ohio State • made three tackles against Miami (OH) • competed at Colorado • recorded one tackle against Bowling Green • registered four tackles, including one tackle for a loss, and one quarterback hit at Purdue • notched four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss and one sack in the end zone for a safety, against Nebraska • registered three tackles against Maryland • made two tackles at Northwestern • recorded fives tackles against Illinois • registered one quarterback hurry and one tackle at Indiana • had three tackles against Wisconsin • recorded three tackles and two sacks against West Virginia in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. 

2020 JUNIOR SEASON: Played in seven games • made 15 tackles, including one sack. 2019 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games • recorded 22 tackles, five tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Game-by-Game: Made two tackles including a game sealing fourth down sack against South Dakota State • tallied two tackles against Fresno State • saw action against Georgia Southern • notched two tackles including one for a loss against Purdue • competed against Illinois • recorded two tackles against Nebraska • recorded five tackles including two for a loss of 11 yards and one sack against Rutgers • saw action against Maryland • ripped off one sack for a loss of seven yards and three tackles against Penn State • competed at Iowa • notched two tackles at Northwestern • tallied three tackles against Wisconsin • recorded one tackle against Auburn in the Outback Bowl.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana • wore No. 9 for the Giants • as a senior, made 69 tackles and eight sacks as team finished 9-4 • broke up two passes, recovered one fumble, forced one fumble, blocked one punt and also notched one safety • caught one pass for 12 yards • received three stars from 247 Sports and Scout, while ESPN and Rivals gave him two stars • Scout listed him as the No. 1 defensive end in Indiana, the No. 14 defensive end in the Midwest and the No. 116 recruit in the Midwest • 247 Sports ranked him the No. 9 prospect in Indiana and as the No. 46 player at his position • ESPN listed him as the No. 23 prospect in Indiana • coached by Mike Kirschner.
