Bartoszkiewicz Invited to U.S. National Goaltending Camp

MINNEAPOLIS – Gopher Hockey's Owen Bartoszkiewicz is one of 29 invitees to the 2022 USA Hockey National Goaltending Camp, set for May 19-22 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.Â
The four-day event will consist of on-ice training, skill development, video analysis and team building activities.Â
A native of Northville, Mich., Bartoszkiewicz joined the Gophers on Jan. 14, 2022 during Minnesota's run to the Big Ten regular-season title and NCAA Frozen Four berth. The netminder did not see game action for the Maroon & Gold after starting the 2021-22 season with the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL. Bartoszkiewicz previously competed with the Wichita Falls Warriors in the NAHL and was a 2020-21 All-NAHL Rookie Team First Team selection as well as the 2020-21 NAHL South Division Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year.Â
