BEMIDJI, Minn. – The No. 3/4 Golden Gopher women's hockey team won its ninth consecutive game with a 7-0 rout of Bemidji State on Friday afternoon at the Sanford Center.

Abigail Boreen tallied her 11th goal in her last nine games late in the third period.
Sophomore goaltender Skylar Vetter stopped all 12 shots in two periods of work for her 16th win of the season. Senior goaltender Olivia King made four saves in the third period in her season debut. Bemidji State's (4-20-1) Hannah Hogenson made 45 saves in the defeat.

"A fun game here tonight," said head coach Brad Frost. "Lots of penalties both ways, but our power play and penalty kill were both good. We had a couple timely goals in the first and were able to extend that lead. I'm really happy for Olivia King being able to get her first action of the year and combine with Skylar Vetter for the shutout."
