Minnesota trailed 28-31 in the first half and rattled off three-straight threes followed by a jumper from Battle to go up 39-33 at the half. It marked the most points by the Gophers in the first half this season. The Huskers, however, took a 48-47 lead at 14:35 in the second half. Minnesota trailed until Ola-Joseph scored at 7:39 for a 59-58 lead. Trailing 64-67, Samuels drained a three to tie the game and send it to overtime. The Huskers, however took the lead for good at 3:12 in overtime at 71-69 and maintained the lead for the win.
