Maroon and Gold Set To Compete in Blessings Invitational Monday

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team travels to Johnson, Ark., to compete in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational early next week.
The three day, 54-hole tournament begins Monday and runs through Wednesday, taking place at Blessings Golf Club. The tournament will feature a men's and women's competition, with the Gopher women's golf team also taking part.

The Lineup:
The Gophers will be represented by graduate seniors Jacob Pedersen and Brock Winter, senior Ben Warian, junior Bennett Swavely and sophomore Mason Roloff.
The Field:
The Maroon and Gold will compete against host-Arkansas, Clemson, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina State, North Texas, South Carolina and Washington.

The Gophers finished last week's Windon Memorial in 10th place overall with a team score of 9-under par (282-274-287–887).
