Minnesota lost on the road to Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. - Despite outshooting the Wildcats, 14-11 the University of Minnesota soccer team came up short against Northwestern 3-0 on Thursday night on the road at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.

The loss dropped Minnesota's record to 6-6-4 overall and 2-5-2 in Big Ten action.

How it Happened
Megan Plaschko led Minnesota with four saves. The Golden Gophers registered 14 shots in the loss, four of them on goal. Khyah Harper led with 14 shots, Izzy Brown had two while four other Gophers had one. Minnesota faced 11 Northwestern shots, seven of them on goal.
