Big Ten Conference Announces Men's Basketball Broadcast Information and Times

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will be highlighted on four broadcast avenues for the upcoming 2023-24 season, announced today by the Big Ten Conference. Minnesota will be shown on Big Ten Network, Peacock, FS1 and B1G + this season. Along with broadcast information, times have been set for all 2023-24 contests. 

Big Ten Network will televise 133 Big Ten men's basketball games during the exhibition and regular season, in addition to the eight Thursday and Friday games of the 2024 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament in Minneapolis. FS1 is slated to televise 36 games this year, including Minnesota's games at Indiana (Jan. 12) and at Michigan State (Jan. 18). This year, Peacock will broadcast 34 Big Ten men's basketball regular season games and the first two games of the Big Ten Tournament, Wednesday, March 13, in Minneapolis. 

Of Minnesota's 31 regular season games, 22 will be shown on Big Ten Network or FS1, followed by five on Peacock. Three regular season games (Nov. 10 vs. Bethune Cookman, Dec. 12 vs. IUPUI and Dec. 21 vs. Ball State) in addition to the Nov. 2 exhibition vs Macalester will be streamed on B1G + and begin at 7 p.m. 

All regular season and postseason games will also be available through the Gopher Radio Network.

The Golden Gopher basketball program returns six athletes from last year's team, including All-Big Ten honorable mention Dawson Garcia and sophomores Braeden Carrington, Joshua Ola-Joseph and Pharrel Payne. In addition, the Gophers welcome five newcomers to the squad this season in Cam Christie, Elijah Hawkins, Mike Mitchell Jr., Erick Reader and Jack Wilson
