MINNEAPOLIS – For the third week in a row, University of Minnesota junior Mya Hooten has earned a Big Ten weekly award. This time around she's been named Co-Gymnast of the Week with Abby Heiskell of Michigan, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Hooten earned her fifth career perfect 10 on floor on Saturday, marking the first of her junior season.

Although the highlight of the night, Hooten's perfect routine on floor was not the only bright spot. She scored a 39.675 in the all-around, a career best. Included in her all-around score was a 9.975 on vault – tied her career best –  and a 9.825 on beam, the highest of her three career beam routines.

The Woodbury, Minn. native's performance helped propel Minnesota to a victory over Illinois, 196.675 to 195.775.

Hooten and the Gophers will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. for a matchup with the Wolverines on Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT, broadcast on ESPNU.
