Gopher Sports: How would you describe the energy that Gopher fans have brought to the Pav in the first three meets of the year? How has that contributed to the team's success?
Abbie Nylin: The energy that Gopher fans have brought to the PAV this year has been electric. It has been energetic, loud and igniting. It sparks confidence in each gymnast and really gets everyone fired up. It is so special to know that we have all of our fans standing behind us and cheering us on.
Halle Remlinger: The energy that Gopher fans have brought to the Pav is unmatched. The fans are always so loud and we can feel their support from the stands! Our team feeds off of our fans energy at every meet and we couldn't imagine not having them there! We truly have some of the best fans out there!
Maddie Quarles: Our fans are always the loudest in the arena but this year has topped every other year! Even at away meets, Gopher nation is the loudest group and they make sure we know they are supporting us the entire way. We cannot thank them enough for all they do for us!
Mallory LeNeave: Our fans have been AMAZING this season! Gopher nation always brings the energy to the Pav and our team feeds off of that! Their support means the world to us and we can't imagine meets without them there cheering us on every step of the way!
Tiarre Sales: The gopher fans have definitely shown up to show out this year! Every year I think it can't get louder but gopher nation never fails to exceed these expectations. We know that we wouldn't be as successful without the gopher fans supporting us each and every meet. A hugeeee thank you to the gopher fans that keep on believing in us!
Maya Albertin: Gopher nation has been amazing my four years here, but this year I feel like the energy is unmatched. Our fans bring so much passion and motivation which is so contagious to the team, and fuels our hunger to get better and better every meet.
Ali Sonier: We cannot thank Gopher nation enough for all the support thus far! The fans have brought such great energy to the Pav and has made it more fun for our team to compete.

GopherSports: What has been your favorite memory you've made during your time at the University of Minnesota?
Abbie Nylin: My all time favorite memory that I will remember for the rest of my life was winning Big Tens my junior year. Everything about that meet was awesome: the way the team felt, the energy, how we came together, how we were committed and determined in every turn. It was awesome. I will never forget that feeling of when Ona Loper finished her floor routine and we all knew that we had won. We all looked at each other and started jumping, screaming and crying. It was a very special moment and I'm so grateful that I was able to experience it with my whole team.
Halle Remlinger: One of my favorite memories that I've had during my time at the university of Minnesota was winning Big Tens my sophomore year. That was such a special and memorable meet and is something that I will remember forever.
Maddie Quarles: I have two very special memories that i've made being on this team. The first on is winning B1G 10's in 2021 and the second is receiving my first perfect 10 this year at Big 5s!
Mallory LeNeave: It's hard for me to choose one specific moment that has been my favorite, but if I had to pick I'd say winning Big 10's my sophomore year and going to Nationals back to back years. Both of these moments were so rewarding getting to see all of the hard work and dedication pay off.
Tiarre Sales: Hands down my favorite memory has been winning big 10s! The team was so unified and had so much fun, it was truly an unforgettable experience.
Maya Albertin: My favorite memory so far has been winning big 10s my sophomore year. Getting to celebrate with the team and see all of our hard work and sacrifice pay off was a feeling I will never forget.
Ali Sonier: There have been so many great memories that have happened in my 5 years here. My favorite memory so far was winning Big 10's my junior year. We were at home in the Pav which made winning even more special.
Kate Grotenhuis: My favorite memory has to be winning Big 10s sophomore year. That team was so special as we all supported each other in a way that has been unmatched. Getting to stand with the trophy on the podium at home was so special as it meant that all of our hard work had paid off.
GS: What do you think makes this program special?
Abbie Nylin: The thing that makes this program special is the culture. The team is a family and we all look out for each other. We also have one of the best coaching staff in the country. Our coaching staff is present in every aspect of our life. They make it a priority that we are all at our best mentally, physically, and emotionally. They provide us the tools and resources we need to succeed as student athletes and to help make our experience as a Gopher the best one. We also have high standards and expectations and we hold each other accountable for everything. Our program stands by ten values: integrity, passion, harmony, rare, commitment, gratitude, present, limitless, pursuit of excellence and unphased. We live these values to the max in all aspects in and out of the gym. Additionally, the Gophers that have come before us for years have worked hard to build this strong foundation of a culture for us and it is our job to continue to keep it building and keep the legacy going.
Halle Remlinger: the thing that makes this program so special is our culture. Everybody on our team is truly one big family. No matter what goes on we are all there to support and lift each other up. We have such a strong bond with each other and it's just so special to experience with everybody.
Maddie Quarles: what makes this program special is the culture and the experiences we share as a team. As a team we do just about everything together and even through the hard times we always come out together. Along with having alums who are always there for you and help you through hard times goes back to the culture piece of our team.
Mallory LeNeave: This program is so special because our team is truly a family. Our team culture is unmatched in the way that we support and care for each other through the ups and downs. Our bond is what makes us such a strong team each year.
Tiarre Sales: This program is truly based on a family culture and everyone matters. We are family from the day you become a gopher and it never stops. Not only are you surrounded by a caring family, you are encouraged and supported to grow as a person in this program to continuing being a great teammate in life whatever path you choose.
Maya Albertin: I think the bond we share as a team is what makes this program so special. We truly view every teammate as family and it has made our team dynamic so strong.
Ali Sonier: This program is so special because we are one big family. Past, present and future Gophers are able to come together and share experiences together. We truly are one big family that support and care for each other.
Kate Grotenhuis: I think the team culture makes the program special. When everyone on the team buys in to having the same values we can truly succeed like no other.
