Big Ten Sets League Opponents for 2023-24 Men's Basketball Season

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will compete in 20 Big Ten regular-season conference games during the 2023-24 season, announced today by the conference office. The Golden Gophers will face seven opponents twice next year, with another six in either a home or road contest. Dates, times and broadcast information will follow at a later date. 

Minnesota will play the following seven schools both at home and on the road next season: Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State and Penn State.

The Golden Gophers are also set to host Maryland, Rutgers and Wisconsin next year and travel to Illinois, Michigan and Purdue during the 2023-24 campaign.

The 2024 Big Ten Championship will be held March 13-17 at Target Center in Minneapolis. The 2024 tournament will mark the fifth different city to host the event since the inaugural tournament in 1998.
