Men's Basketball and Cincinnati Agree to Home-and-Home Series

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team has agreed to a home-and-home series with the University of Cincinnati. The Bearcats will host the Golden Gophers on Nov. 9, 2026. Time and broadcast information will follow at a later date. Cincinnati is scheduled to travel to the Barn in the 2027-28 campaign. The future home date is to be determined.
The Gophers and Bearcats have faced each other five times in school history, excluding vacated games. The November matchup will be the first contest between the two institutions since 2006. Minnesota holds a 2-3 record against Cincinnati dating back to 1983, and it marks the fourth time away from the Barn.
