MINNEAPOLIS -- Head coach Brad Frost and the Golden Gopher women's hockey program have announced the team's non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season. In addition to the 28-game regular-season conference slate, the Gophers will participate in six non-conference games to round out the full schedule.

Minnesota will open the regular season with a road trip to Rochester, N.Y., to face RIT on Oct. 6-7. The Gophers are 3-0 all-time against the Tigers with all three victories coming at Ridder Arena.

Minnesota's non-conference portion of the schedule will resume in November with the D1 in DC showcase. The Maroon and Gold are set to face Cornell on Nov. 24 and Harvard on Nov. 25 at the Medstar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. The Gophers are 5-0-0 against Cornell and 14-5-1 against Harvard in program history.

To complete the non-conference schedule, the 'U' will open the second half of its schedule with its first-ever series with the University of Connecticut on Jan. 5-6. The Gophers defeated the Huskies, 3-0, on Oct. 7, 2005, in the only prior matchup between the two programs.

The Gophers will also host an exhibition matchup against the Durham West Lightning at Ridder Arena on Sept. 23.

Gopher women's hockey season tickets are on sale now, starting at only $79, and season ticket packages are available for purchase online.
