MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota junior Shelby Frank will compete in the women's discus as a member of Team USA's U23 world team at the 2023 North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Championships, which will be held July 21-23 in San José, Costa Rica.

The 2023 NACAC U18/U23 Championships will feature athletes from 35 different countries across the NACAC region. The discus event will be held on Friday, July 21, at 10:30 a.m. CT. Live results are available via FECOA.org. Additional meet information is available here.

Frank, who redshirted this past outdoor season, was the youngest athlete the make the US women's discus final at the USATF Outdoor Championships earlier this month. She is the top representative for the United States at the event in Costa Rica with a lifetime best discus mark of 59.07m (193-9) that she set at the Iron Wood Throws Classic back in June.
